Villa Rosengarten in winter, lit up in the snow

Villa Rosengarten

The winter villa

When Fehmarn falls quiet – fireside evenings, stormy air and silent beaches.

  • Wood stove & wall heating
  • Sauna & fitness
  • High-speed WiFi
  • Quiet low season
  • Dogs welcome
  • Short distances, empty beaches

In winter, Fehmarn shows a completely different, equally fascinating side: icy stones along the shore, clear air, a low sun over the Baltic Sea, and beaches where you’re often alone for as far as the eye can see. If you like wind and weather, you’ll find a stillness here that’s rare in summer – ideal for long walks with the dog, storm-watching from the cliffs, or simply a few days of deliberately doing nothing.

Inside the villa itself, things get especially cosy. A wood stove, warm wall heating and thick blankets keep you comfortable while the wind blows around the house outside. After a walk along the icy coast, the villa’s own sauna is just the thing to warm back up – and in the evening, the fireplace invites you to linger.

The villa is also perfectly suited to longer stays outside the main season: professional high-speed WiFi makes it an ideal retreat for remote work, while Fehmarn unfolds its winter stillness right outside the door. And when snow falls in the evening and the villa glows in the warm light of the garden lighting, an atmosphere emerges that many of our guests particularly treasure.
